OHA Hosts Native Hawaiian Climate Resilience Scoping Meetings

On May 8, 2023, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs hosted the first in o series of scoping meetings for the federal government's Native Hawaiian Climate Resilience Program. An initiative of the U.S. Department of the lnterior's Office of Native Hawaiian Relations (0NHR), the program is an effort to build capacity within the Native Hawaiian community to increase resilience in the face of dimate change and to enhanee the ability of our community to eope with the effects of dimate change by incorporating ancestral ingenuity into dimate change adaptation. To achieve this, 0NHR plans to provide funding to advance elimale change resilience and adaptation activities that serve the Native Hawaiian community.
