J heahh or allied-health profession, ' applications for this comprehensive scholarship program are being ccepted online. The following profes-
sions are eligible to apply: elinieal psychology, dentistry, dental hygiene, dietetics/nutrition, nursing, medicine, physician assistant, and social work. The NHHSP was established under the Native Hawaiian Healthcare Act of 1998 to increase the number of Native Hawaiians in heahh and allied-health professions and enhanee professional qualifications. The scholarship covers tuition, books, and provides a monthly stipend along with an assigned program coordinator, monthly leadership series, and a mentorship program. The awardee must also be willing to relocate to one of the five major islands upon graduation to fulfill the service obligation.
