NŪHOU NEWS

The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement held an Office of Hawaiian Affairs lown hall in July to give voters a ehanee to hear from candidates vying for five seats on 0HA's Board of Trustees in the Aug. 1 1 primary eleelion. The forum was recorded at Ka Waiwai in Mō'ili'ili and televised by KITV on July 25. The forum included candidates for 0HA's O'ahu Trustee seat, whieh is being vacated by Trustee Peter Apo, who will nol be seeking re-election. Candidates hoping to win one of three open at-large seats also appeared. The two candidates for 0HA's Maui seat will appear on the general eleelion hallol. ■ Photos: Kawena Carvalho-Mattos
