They ratified that ehoiee when this Territory of Hawai'i voted for statehood. Talk of a separate nation is divisive. Also, I really don't know what Native Hawaiians want. When they decide, I will listen. I was born in Rhode lsland. My wife is a Native Hawaiian from Kāne'ohe. She welcomed tourists at the old Honolulu airport with a hula as a child.
