Maoli Arts Month Maoli Arts Month (MAMo) will be holding events through the end of May on Hawai'i Island and O'ahu. MAMo is a communitybased effort, sponsored by the PA'I Foundation, to celebrate the diversity of the Native Hawaiian arts community by promoting eeonomie opportunities for these artists and cultural practitioners by increasing their presence in museums and galleries.
MAMo exhibit Fri.-Fri., April 6-27 Maoli Arts Month kicks off with the exhibit "He Maiau, He No'iau, He Ola! - Skilled Men, Skilled Women, Life!" at the Wailoa Art Center Gallery in Hilo showcasing a variety of Native Hawaiian work utilizing various art media.
