Workshops planned on new bottomfish regulations

Learn about new bottomfish fishery rules and regulations in preparation for the Sept. 1 opening of the main Hawaiian Islands bottomfish fishery. Workshops across the Islands will feature interactive booths, infonnation on the changes to the bottomfish Deep-7 annual quota from a total allowable catch (TAC) to an annual catch limit (ACL), as well as infonnation on the federal noncommercial bottomfish pennit and reporting program.
