TRUSTEE KAMEHAMEHA SCHOOLS The Robate Court has appointed a Trastee Screening Connnittee to nominate tlnee candidates from whom the Court will select one Trastee to hll the expired term of Trastee Robeif Kihune. The successor to Trastee Kihune will be appointed to hll one hve (5) year tenn and be eligible for an additional hve (5) year tenn, as detennined by the Couif . The Screeihng Committee is now seeking active leaders from the conmiumty who possess a deep sense of commitment and the ability to ensure Rincess Benhce Panalh Bishop's vision and legacy aie peipehiated into the future. Candidates nmst possess demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: • Business administration • Hnanee and investment • Strategic plamhng and policy setting • Areas of interest to Kamehameha Schools including education, law or govemance

Candidates should also possess the following: • A recogihzed reputation of integrity and good character • The capacity to fulhll the responsibilities of a hduciary under trast law • Respect for and from the comnmnity • Consistent and active leadership in the conmiuihty with specihc emphasis on issues impacting the well-being of the people of Hawai'i • Phstoiy of success in business, hnanee or related aieas • A fonnal education • Outstanding personal traits including Hawaiian values • Willingness and sincerity to uphold the purposes of the Kamehameha Schools Eaeh Trastee cuiTently receives an annual retainer of $30,000. In addition, the Chaiiperson receives a per meeting fee of $2,000 - other Trastees receive $1,500 eaeh - for a maximum of 45 meetings per ycai'.
