H-3 Public Meeting • We will be presenting infonnation on various cultural landscapes surrounding tliis project, discussing proposed mitigation actions, and will be allowing tlie public to submit their own mitigation actions for consideration. We will be accepting infoniiation about cultural and historic sites and practices regarding the Halawa and L. Kaneohe areas. ■ ■ The Halawa Liiluku Interpretive Development Project is a cooperative effort of tlie federal and state govenunent, and the coimiiunity to produce tlie H-3 Mitigation Plan. The plan mitigates any adverse impact resulting from tlie constniction of Interstate H-3 Highway. $11 million was set aside to undertake a project tliat preserves and interprets tlie cultural resources located in tlie lands affected by H-3.
