Pauahi scholarships
The Ke Ali'i Pauahi Foundation is offering a variety of scholarship opportunities for Hawai'i residents pursuing post-high-school studies who seek professional development such fields as medicine, visual arts, business, education, Hawaiian language and law. Priority for some of the awards will be given to those demonstrating financial need. The deadline to apply is Oct. 15 for the spring 2004 semester. Its mission is to perpetuate the legacy of Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop by providing educational scholarships, with preference given to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
