NOTICE IS HEREB Y GIVEN ihal unmarked historic burials havc bccn discovcrcd in TMK 2-3-1 6: 9 & 43 locatcd at thc corner of Makaloa and Sheridan Streets in Kalia, Makiki ahupua'a, īlonolulu, O'ahu. Portions of the area were formerly parts of Land Commission Awards 100 to Kekaula and 101 to Kaluaoku. The remains interred at this loeaīion may be associated with the 1853 smallpox epidemic, although some remains appear to pre-date thaf epidemic. Treatinenf of the human remains shall occur in accordance with Seclion 6E-43.6 1 1RS.
