Tolerance urged

May Day is Lei Day in Hawai'i. A leader in the field of education and another in the Ministries division were given a lei of thorns for their heads. This was the same way a crown of thorns were placed on a leader thousands of years ago. The only fault that these leaders have is their love for people of this 'āina. Their interest is to educate our people in knowing who we are and where we are going and what are we going to do about it. Enough is enough; the damage has been done. BIG TIME. have gone the same way of Queen Lili'uokalani that left her throne. History does repeats itself. Pono Ho'oponopono 'ohana — we are a people of many colors and race and have learned to live with eaeh other. Lucy M. Akau Waimānalo
