On Aug. 11, Native Hawaiians and supporters on Kauah reached agreement on several issues at the Native Hawaiian Leadem' Symposium. Sponsored by the Koani Foundation, dedicated to Hawaiian rights and unity, the sym~ posium was the last event organized by Koani founder John "Butch" Kekahu before his passing last December.
