Ka Wai Ola - Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Volume 17, Number 4, 1 April 2000 — Poem [ARTICLE]
Poem
Words based on a Navajo Indian prayer. A hope for the Hawaiian people. Peaee before us, peaee behind us, peaee under ourfeet. Peaee within us, peaee over us, let all around us be peaee. Love before us, love behind us, love under ourfeet. Love within us, love over us, let all around us be love. Light before us, light behind us, light under ourfeet. Light within us, light over us, let all around us be light. Truth before us, truth over us, let all around us be truth. Hope before us, hope over us, let all around us be hope.
