It is no longer necessary for individual claimants to have filed a lawsuit in circuit court by the previously announced Dec. 31 deadhne in order to pursue their claims. The Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation (NHLC) is trying to reach everyone who filed a elaim with the Hawaiian Home Lands Trust Individual Claims Review Panel. Executive Director Manage operations of a University-wide initiative to develop innovative interdisciplinary research projects in the field of Native American studies, to create executive and professional development programs for Native leaders, to provide support to Native students enrolled at Harvard University, and to build a vibrant intellectual community committed to Native American studies at Harvard. Oversee budget, external relations, and fundraising activities and staff. Help develop and implement short- and long-term plans and evaluate progress of Program in key areas. Work closely with Native students and program-affiliated faculty and serve as resource on Native American issues and concems for the University. Report to faculty leadership of the Program and works with HUNAP Faculty Advisory Board. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree; proven planning, management and fund raising experience; demonstrated organization, communication and supervisory skills. Experience administering graduate academic programs preferred.
