ʻŌiwi scholarships
The Society for American Archaeology has announced the availabihty of the Arthur C. Parker Scholarship and National Science Foundahon Scholarships for Archaeological training for Native Americans and Native Hawahans for the year 2000. High School seniors, college undergraduates and graduate students may be considered for four scholarships in the amount of $3,000 eaeh for archaeological training in fieldwork, analytical techniques and curation. Arthur C. Parker was the first president of the Society for Amenean Archaeology from 1935-36, and grew up on the Cattaraugus Reservation in New York. Apphcations or nominations
