home. Established by the will of King William Charles Lunalilo, the home has served Native Hawaiians for generations, but closed more than two years ago for badly needed renovation. According to Lunalilo Trustee Keahi Allen, the years-long, multi-million dollar project is near completion despite several set-backs. They hope to re-open for residents some time next years.
