He was i one of our ancestors who signed the j Palapala Ho'opi'i Kū'ē Ho'ohui i 'Aina (petition against annexation) in i 1 897. My grandfather j Kalawa, Kahunanui to Kamakahelei i and her son Kaumualii, had six keiki: i Naunahi (w), Puipui (k), MohokuahiI wi (k), Palaau (k), Momimomi (k) ī and Nika (k). Momimomi had one i issue, Koleka (w); Nika had three, i Akamu (k), Kolia (k) and Kaumana ; (w). Of Nika's keiki, Akamu died j young leaving no offspring. Kau- | mana married H.
