Community asked to propose water quality projects in Waimānalo Water is a source of life and a precious resource that must be cared for. The quality of our streams and oceans concerns us all. How clear are the waters in Waimānalo, and what ean the community do about it? The Hawai'i Community Foundation Water Quality Project is requesting proposals by June 2, 1997, from nonprofit agencies to work on management and restoration activities to improve the quality of stream and nearshore water in the Waimānalo watershed area.
