ʻŌʻō award winners announced
The Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of the 20th annual 'Ō'ō awards. The winners are: • Monsignor Charles A. Kekumano, trustee, Queen Lili'uokalani Trust • Bemard P. Kea, President, Community PIanning ine. and • Bruss H.K. Keppeler, Attomey-at-Law, the Law Offices of H.K. Bmss Keppeler. The 'O'ō Awards are based on the person's business and professional prowess, aloha spirit and community service. The recipient typifies the values and goals as set forth in the Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce mission statement: "To provide a vision, a voice, a unique set of Hawaiian values and the leadership growth and cooperation among its members, the Hawaiian business community, as well as the community-at-large." The three recipients will be honored at the 20th Annual 'O'ō Awards to be held Fri. May 10 from 6 p.m. at the Hibiscus Ballroom of the Ala Moana Hotel.
