SCHOLARSHIPS

Eaeh year, the Education Division uses a set sum of money to provide scholarships to students seeking postsecondarv education. The scholar-

ships are administered through the Kamehameha Schools Financial Aid division. Applications are available December through February with a March 1 priority deadline. Scholarships are awarded only onee during the school year (usually in early winter) with priority given to first-time applicants.

KeAliiPo'oMaika'i Alexander (left) and Alieia Antonio (right) are two of the students who received scholarships from OHA this year. Alexander is from Kailua, O'ahu and plans to attend Pennsylvania State University next year. As an undergraduate, he hopes to major in business and later attend graduate school to get a master's degree in business.

Antonio is from Llhu'e and is now attending Pacific University. She plans to become a certified public accountant and eventually pursue a business law degree. For more information eall 594-1912.
