Kamakana Napoopahoehoe Prever (Pervier) In the April 1995 issue of Ka Wai Ola O OHA 'ohana reunion announcement for the above-named 'ohana, one daughter - Kulumano - was omitted. She married a William T. Thompson. Their children were Henry (who married Pale and had Samuel. who married Grace Aoha), Emily (married?) and Isaac (who married Kaena [Kanaana?] and had Emily [who married Laumauna] and Lillian [who married Donnelson]). 'Aha Nā 'Ohana O Lahapa The family of Lahapa (w) will be holding its 6th 'aha nā 'ohana on August 5 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Bellows Air Force Station ballpark pavilion, Waimānalo, O'ahu. Lahapa was the youngest daughter of Pahukula and Kahunaole of Hawai'i. Her brothers and sisters were Keliikinolua (k), Palakiko (k), Kilikina (w), Kelekolio (k), Kelepolo (k) and Pa'u (w). Two surviving mo'opuna of Lahapa are Anna Jenny (Hatori) Manoi and Carrie Theresa (Hatori) Kauahi of Kaua'i. We're interested in connecting with other members of our 'ohana. Napuaehu A search is on for the son and daughters of Nika Napuaehu or Nika Nika (k), born 1853 in Kohala. His spouse was Hukia-Kealii Nika or Hukia-Nalii Nika, born 1857, also in Kohala. Their children were: Samuel Lalawai Nika, born about 1880; Kaanohi Nika (w), bom 1877 or 1879; Mooalii Nika (w), born 1889; Elizabeth Kapeka Nika, born 1895; Annie Anna Nika, born 1899. Keaunui The descendants of London Lakana Keaunui, are having a family reunion with a potluck pienie, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Aug. 12 at Mālaekahana State Beach Park (Kahuku side) on O'ahu.

There will be a pienie at Kualoa Beach Park 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Aug. 4, a genealogy session at Kāne'ohe Mormon Stake 6-10 p.m. on Aug. 4, a memonal at O'ahu Cemetery 10 a.m. on Aug. 5, and a lū'au at Rainbow Bay-Pearl Harbor 4 p.m. on Aug. 5. Ahlo, Ah Lo, Alo, Ahlo-Chung The hiannual Ahlo family reunion will be held July 22-23 at Pavilion 5A, Bellows Field, Waimānalo. The site has been reserved from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. for both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday a lū'au luneheon will begin at noon - 'ohana members should bring musical instruments. On Sunday a potluck pienie is planned. Upon entering Bellows Field, it is important to eheek in with the guard. He will have a list of the names of those who will be eligible to enter and he ean give you directions to Pavilion 5A. To make sure you are on that list or for more information on reunion or genealogy books, contact Aunty Mena Ahloat 262-91 18. Nahinu Human remains found on the former site of the Hawai'i Meat Company on Middle Street in Honolulu will be reinterred on July 15 with traditional Hawaiian ceremonies officiated by John Lake. The remains were determined to be those of a Nahinu descendant, and members of the Nahinu 'ohana are being requested to participate in the ceremonies.
