Apply now for Piʻianāi‘a scholarships
Hawaiian students interested in pursuing a graduate program in Hawaiian studies may apply by Junc 15 for an Abraham Pi'ianāi'a graduate scholarship. The scholarship amount is $1,000 and will be applied to tuition for the fall 1995 and spring 1996 semesters. Awards are based on the student's past achievements and future goais. To be eligible, applicants must be presently enrolled or have been accepted in a University of Hawai'i-Mānoa graduate program. Applicants must submit a one-page statement of personal goals to be achieved through the graduate program and how their program relates to Hawaiian studies. Applicants must submit an official transcript of undergraduale work (and graduate program. if applieahle), as well as proof of Hawaiian ancestr>'.
