Business classes for Pāhala and Kona

For the first time, the Alu Like Entrepreneurship Training Program will be conducting "How to Start a business" classes on the Big Island in Pāhala and Kona. The course will be an overview of general business concepts for both potential and existing business owners and is presented in a relaxed and cultuially sensitive environment. Having completed business training and written a business plan many students will then be able to go on to apply for business loans from Enaneial institutions. If they are rejected by two of these institutions they ean apply with the Native Hawaiian Revolving Loan Fund at OHA. The Kona classes will begin on Saturday, Nov. 13 and will run for six consecutive Saturdays ffom 9 a.m - 4 p.m. For further information or an application eall Dave Brown at 961-2625.
