Hawaiian language courses offered by Friends of ʻlolani Palaee target working adults

The Friends of 'Iolani Palaee are continuing their Hawaiian language program, "Brown Bagging to Conversational Hawaiian: A Language Awareness and Conversational Class for the Busy Person."

Students of the course will be instructed in pronunciation as well as basic conversation skills. The course is targeted at the working adult who might not have the time demanded by other language programs. Everyone is

weleome and no homework or tests are required. Classes meet in 'Iolani Barracks on the 'Ewa Palaee Grounds, Mondays for continuing students, and Wednesdays for beginning students (except holi-

days). There will be two class sessions eaeh day, one at 1 1 a.m. and the other at noon. Fees are $5.00 eaeh session and students will register for a month at a time. Fees are payable upon registration with adjustments made
