State Foundation on Culture and the Arts announces apprenticeship awards

Hawaiian arts and crafts account for more than half of the apprenticeship awards recently approved by the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts. Eighteen 1993 Folk Arts Apprenticeship Awards averaging $2,900 were approved; the apprenticeships will last six to eight months.
