Library fellowship

Gloria Silva Moan is the 1992-93 Alu Like fellowship recipient for study towards the Master of Library and Information Studies degree. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Hawai'i where she majored in

Hawaiian language and taught language courses. She is interested in designing systems for improving access to Hawaiian language materials for research and scholarships. The Alu Like fellowship program is administered by the Native Hawaiian Library Project and the School of Library and Information Studies. The $10,000 fellowship is supported by the Library Services and Construction Act grant for improving information services to Native Hawaiians.
