Makaha invited to planning sessions

Makaha residents are invited to a series of planning meetings to help direct whieh health and community services the state will fund. The first planning meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Makaha Elementary School cafeteria (Bring potluck snacks).

Because of anticipated belt-tightening by the state, legislators such as Peter Apo have askedfor the community's help in planning and prioritizing

whieh services are most important and needed. The topic of the first Makaha community meeting will be "How Do We Make This Plan?" Decisions will be made on how to plan and organize during the next year. The actual community plan will be completed by November 1992, in time for the 1993 legislative session.
