The Native Hawaiian Culture and Arts Program announces funding opportunities for the 1990-91 fiscal year, for projects to perpetuate and research ancient Hawaiian traditions. Categories include: •projects to research and perpetuate Hawaiian culture, • documentation of kupuna, • availability of cultural resources (focus on natural resources and archival resources,) • professional development opportunities for Hawaiians (such as research suppnrt for practitioners and grant writing training.)
