By Elaine Tamashiro OHA Volunteer coordinator Operation 'Ohana The enrollment of native Hawaiians continues to be top priority for this office. We are working hard to get back to everyone who called and expressed an interest in enrolling as native Hawaiians. But it takes time and your patience is appreciated. We will get to everyone as soon as we ean. Meanwhile we will eall you when we are in your district and invite you to eome and register. Anyone who is in the Honolulu area is weleome to drop in at the OHA offices on the 15th floor of the Pan Am building at 1600 Kapi'olani Blvd. You ean enroll at OHA during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays. Weekly training sessions are held throughout O'ahu for those interested in becoming enrollment registrars. Training sessions have been held atthe OHA board room, the Kaneohe Library, the Aiea Library, and the Wai'anae Satellite City Hall. This month, we plan to have sessions in Waipahu and Wai'anae in addition to a session at OHA. lf interested, eall 946-2642 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. People living on the neighbor islands may eall the OHA Liaison offices. Thanks to volunteers Louis Austria for helping to deliver newspapers in the Wahiawa area several months ago, to Ann Heffner for helping with the special mailing project and to Jane Yamamoto for helping to eompile Operation 'Ohana material.
