Kawaiahao Church sets Aliʻi Sundays
The pastor of Kawaiahao Church announces the schedule of Ali'i Sundays for 1990. People attending the services in special groups are asked to assemble outside by 10 a.m. and enter the church by 10:15 so that servicesmaybegin promptly at 10:30. The special services will include invited speakers who will discuss the life of the ali'i being honored and how that person's life affected the people of Hawai'i. The president of eaeh organization present at Ali'i Sunday will be recognized by Kahu Kaina. Any president of an organization who is unahle to attend the service is asked to send a representative. Further information on the order of services may be obtained by calling the pastor's office at Kawaiahao Church, 522-1333. All Ali'i Sunday services will be broadcast on KCCN-AM radio (1420) starting at 10:30 a.m. Kawaiahao Church is on the corner of King and Punchbowl streets, Honolulu.
