Pulama Na Kupuna Day

Kupuna members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints display banners upon whieh have been inscribed their family geneologies for Govemor John David Waihee III. They were among those who participated in a Church-sponsored Geneological Festival Saturday, Oct. 24, on the Brigham Young University Hawaii campus at Laie. Gov. Waihee on Oct. 14 proclaimed Oct. 24 as Pulama Na Kupuna Day and also Nov. 22-28 as Family Weekin Hawaii.
