An exhibit of tapa and umeke from the collection of the Daughters of Hawaii is being held during April at the Queen Emma Summer Palaee where regular guided tours will include explanations of the process by whieh the Hawaiians made their barkcloth and the different uses to whieh they put their umeke or calabashes.
