Halawa Inmates Ask OHA for Book Donations

OH A is looking for public donation of books on Hawaii's history, culture and legend for inmates at the Halawa High Security Facility. OHA and Topgallant Publishing Co., Ltd. in 1982 established a Hawaiian section of the prison library and the Halawa administration now wants toexpand it. To make the expansion a reality, however, they need more books. Any and all kinds of books on the 50th state will be greatly appreciated. Oahu donors may drop off their books at the OHA office, 567 S. King St., Suite 100. Neighbor lsland OHAoffices willalso aecept books.
