Hookuu mai la o Bela Kalani i kana paa ana ma ka a-i o ka haku opio, me ke ku mamao ana aku ihope, a o ia ka ka Haku Fanadale i hoomau hou aku ai i ke kamailio ana:

            "mawaena ou âme a'u, o oe hookahi ale no e Bela ka mea a kuu puuwai e hiipoi nei i ka Loio Malo i enemi uo'u. Ua ike aku nei au i kona helehelena ma ka puka aniani o ke keena buke, me ka pii maoli o ka lia maeele iloo o ko'u kino, no kela kanaka.
