Alaila, hai aku la o Kuikuipahu i ka hala i make ai lakou i ka Ui kina uuku o Hilo-hanakahi, me ko ia nei olelo aku, " I lawe mai nei au i ke poo e hai oe." Alaila, i mai la o Keolonahihi, " Nau no e hai ke poo a kau hunona i pepehi ai a make, a i na hoi i make i ka'u hunona, alaila, na'u no hoi e hai."
