Pono Kaulike ole.

 

            Ke oleloia nei ma ke poo o keia kukulu manao ana, "Pono kaulike ole."

            Heaha la ka mea i kapaia'i kela huaolelo maluna, "Pono kaulike ole?

            Ua ane haohao io ia no paha ke ano o kela huaolelo; aka, i ka noonoo maoli mui nei o na Kaula ike o keia wa, a me ke koena kahiko mai o na Olelokani o ka manawa o Kamehameha I.

            Ke manao mai nei no lakou i kela huaolelo ane nui maoli no.  No ke mea, o ka huaolelo "Pono kaulike ole," oia no ka like ole o na pono mawaena o ua aoao elua, i na he kaikuaana a he kaikaina, he kane a he wahine, he makuakane a he keiki, a pela'ku.
