HE NANEA PAHAOHAO NO TAUSANI

A ME Saribano.

Ka wiwo ole hoi o na wiwo ole—Ka Poai honua kunukunu ole—Ka mea hoi nona na lima i aie ai ke ao holookoa.

            Noho iho la oia no kekahi mau sekona me ke kulou ana o kona poo ilalo, a pane hou ae la oia:  Ina au e ki i kuu pu ia oe, aole e nele ko loaa pono i kuu poka.

            Hooholo iho la ua opio nei e wehe i kona kuka, a kau ae la iluna o kekahi lala laau, kona papale a me ka huawai kau pu aku la no ia ma ia wahi hookahi no.

            Paa pono ae la oia i kana pu a pii ae la iluna o ke kumu laau a hiki i kahi e waiho wale ai o ua luahine ala imua oia nei.

            Ia wa, kalona aku la keia i kana pu ma ka lae o ua luahine ala, i ka pololei ana, ua ki aku la keia me ka hopo ole.
