W. M. S. Lindsay Dies At Waimea

Wiiliam M. S. Liudsay, Sr., well i known Waiuiea rancher, died Fri- ! day afternoon at his home in Kamuela, at the age of 63, after two week's iHness. He w.s a vietim of jmeumonia. Tlie fuueral was held at Waimea <ui Saturday afternoon at 4:00, aud \vas largely attended. Mr. Lindsay was one of the Big Island's most popular citizens and he always kept open house to his iuany friends. He was born at Waimea, June 22, 1875. For several years he served as dēputy sheriff at South Kohala, after whīeh he was assistant nianager of the Parker raneh, under A, W. Carter, for 10 years. Since then he has given aU his time to the Lindsay ranch. Surviving hini are Mrs. Lindsay, a son, deputy sheriff William M. S. Lindsay, Jr., of Hamakua, a daughter, Mrs. Henrj- Lai Hipp of Hilo and five graudchildren.
