WASHINGTON, March 8 — Nine Hawaiian youths have been landed at Canton and Enderbury islands to back ■America's elaim of ownership.

The interior department announcod today that the USCGC Taney landed five Hawaiian colonists at Canton Sunday, and four at Enderburv Mohday. The colortists will start work preparing the islands' commercial airbases, and also collect meterologieal data whieh will be reported daily to Honolulu by radio, and eonstruct a lightliouse on eaeh island.
