Henry K- Mai'iin, candidate for sheriff an<l i)resent iricubent, earried 34 out of. the 3'J precincts of Hawaii county, against his tvvo opponents, Carter a:icl Ivamau. Sheriff Martin was elected outright with a ma]orit.v of 474 votes over the coiubined votes of Carter and Kaniau. Martin has servod the cōunt,v for 34 years, serving ■ ■two terms in his present office. He has won at, the prinianes in the past two elections. He firstran for sheriff in 1932 after serving out the unexpired term of thc late BherilE Sa?riueJ K.
