FORGOTTON SONGS
There are several old song books published during / the turn of the century containing popular tunes, some which still survive today and some which have been forgotton. Unfortunately, these song books did not have the music scores accompanying the printed words. It is to the credit that people like Johnny Noble and Charles E. King, and others, carefully set the musical notes down on paper for some of those favorite songs. We hope that by reprinting some of the songs which are not heard today someone may recognize the words and remember the tune. If this is the case, then we would like to receive either the written musical score or a least a tape recording of the " song. We will then print the score and the words in the following issue for all to see, sing and to become a favorite sonj, Puuhue Mrs. Eliza Holt E maliu ae au i ka leo a ke aloha E hea mai nei e hoi aku Me a'u ka anoi e kipa mau ai Ma neia pohai anuhea.
