May Day Contest: May lst. The Lei Contest is open to all, except employees of the Department of Parks and Recreation, AIl leis must be wearable, between 36 to 42 inches long. There are twelve classificationsforleis: hlue, brown, green, hat, mixed, orange, pink, red, violet, white, yellow and mosf typically Hawaiian. Cash prizes and rlßbons Will be offered in this contest.
