FUNERAL OF E. MACFARLANE.

May Take Place on Sunday from the Catholic Cathedral.

The remains of the lale Edward C. Macfarlane reached this city -.yesterday in the Alameda. Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Macfarlane and the yotmg widow arrived in the ship as well. The casket was removed to the residence of Mr. H- R. Macfarlane, 'Punalioti street. Mr. E C. Macfarlane, at the request of his bride and his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. K. W. Macfarlane, became connected with the Catholic Ch-uVch. Thee funeral, therefore, will take place from thF Catholic Cathedral. The plans at presen call for the services at 3 .30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. These plans may be changed if th£ widow so desires. All arrangements for the funeral are hi' cahrge of Mr. J. A. I lassinger, an old j friend of tiie deceased. The list of pall- j bearers has been partially prepared, but will not be completed until IVlr. F. WMacfarlanc has been consulted. Mrs. E C.
