Notice is hcieby given that in accordance with the authority vested in me by section 612 of the Civil ljaws, the rules and requiremcnts of the National Board of Fire Underwriters for the installation of electric wiring and apparatus, with supplement edition of 1901, with such changes as may be made from time to time in said code, aro adopted as the rules and regulations for the installation of all electric wiring of buildings and electric plants within the Territory of Hawaii. Applicants must te made on p,roper hlanks to the Department of Public Works before wiring o r installing electric plants m any building within the Territory of Hawaii. No person or corporation supplying electric current for lighting or motor pui*poses shall connect with any building without first having tne approval, in writing, of the governm©nt electrician, of the wiring of said building. Mr. W. L» Frazee is appointed government electrician, and is authorized to make all necessary inspections. To take ef£ect on and after the lst day of January, 1902. JAS. H. BOYD.
