WASHINGTON. Jan 4.—Assistant S-eretary of the Treasury H. A Tay lor will retain his position under Governor Shaw, the new Secretary of the Treasury. The retention of Mr. Taylor was agreed upon at the consultation between th-* President and members of the Wisconsin delegation.
