CONDUCTOR VS. POLICEMAN

Have a Mix-up oh Liliha Street Rapid Transit Car. Officer Van Giesen and a nelcctric car conductor had some trouble with one another yesterday on the Liliha street car. The Rapid Transit Company allows a policeman in uniform free, transportation and Van Giesen by showing his badge was entitled to a ride. The conductor did not take this view, however, and pushed Van Giesen off the car. After a mix-up Van Giesen arrested the man and took his seat in the car but did not take the man into custody. He reported the matter to the High Sheriff but it is probable that it will not go any further.
