Eeho answers, j ‘the plaee isn’t built.’ We bave sold Lnndreds of these stoves in Honolulu, au»l never had a eomplaint. Two weeks ago, we sold one to a geutleman on Hawaii, and yesterday he ordered another for a friend. Tbe stove sells itself thrmgh its fuel saving qualities, and because, it is a good baker. You eaa get other styles of stoves if you are not particular as to tho quantity of fuel you burn or how yonr food is cooked. There’s no dvs - pepsia iu mea!s prepared on a PASSY. We received last week a lot of wire clothes-liues that hold j washed clotbes withont nsing I pins. It is a sort of double wire arrangement aud the pieces are held iu between;the harder the wind blows the tighter the pieces are held to the line. There is absolutely no danger of the clothing beiug torn as there is nothing sharp about the liue. While tho cost is a trilie greater than rope, this new style will last so mueh longer that it is eeonomieal to bny tbe pinless line. The CLAESiS is one of the uow fangled saw-edge knives that cuts wanu bread withont leaving it heavy and iced eake without making crombs There aie two or three dfferent mskes of these knives, ail on tbe same priuciple and eaeh one prouonnced the best on earth by the manufacturers. AVe selected the Clauss, whieh we believe as a disiuterested spectator to be better than its neighbors. Y*ou never had anything in your life tbat give as mueh satisfactiou for a dollar. If yon were buying the other sort you would get only one. The favorite sewing maehine in auy community is tbe one that does the most for the le*st money and whieh rnns tbe easiest. In the “M ertheim” yon have a maehiue that sews three distinct stitches —The Loek, Chain and Embroidery uud runs easier than any otber maehine, and you pav twenty dollars Iess for it. Eeonomy stands boldly every side when you buy a Wertheim. Iu tncking the ehain stitcb is preferable, but in other kinds of » ork. the loek stitch is the best. if yon buy a maehiue that sews the loek, unless it is a Wertheim. it won't sew a ehain stitcb. There’s no particular saving iu buying a maehine with but one stitch, thq M ertheira does three acd saves yon ’ots of trooble and work. We’ve just unp&cked six casks of stand lampstbat were built for hard times. They have meial bases and are decorate<l so as to make a very neat appearance in a room.
